Prakash Divas - Birthday of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji

Today is the birthday of Guru Tegh Bahadur, who sacrificed his life to protect the religions and human values, ideals and principles. Remembering Amar Balidani Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on the occasion of his 400th Prakash Divas, which brings hope, faith and courage in the society against bigotry, is a very proud feeling. The sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind ji had a daughter, Bibi Veero, and five sons named Baba Gurditt, Suraj Mal, Ani Rai, Atal Rai and Tyag Mal. Tyag Mal was born in Amritsar in the early hours of 1 April 1621, known as Tegh Bahadur (The Sword of the Sword). He was given this name by Guru Hargobind ji after showing his valor in the fight against the Mughals. He opposed forcing Hindus to become Muslims for the rest of his life. The sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadurji against the anti-religious and ideological freedom of the staunch Muslim ruler was an unprecedented historical event. Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Guru of the Sikhs, was avatari, fearless and supreme heroic. Hindus and Sikhs can neither repay nor forget their priceless sacrifice. He established new spontaneous public welfare ideals by bitterly criticizing the prevailing social beliefs and superstitions. He preferred the mantra of solitude and contemplation for a long time. On 3 February 1633, she was married to Mata Gujri, she was the daughter of Ahir of Patna, Bihar. His son Guru Govind Singh Ji was the tenth and last Guru of the Sikhs.

An incident I have heard from childhood whenever I remember that incident my arms start bursting and blood starts to boil. I want to share that incident with you all.
Govind Rai (Guru Gobind Singh), a small boy of nine years, was a teacher of some radical Muslims who received protection from the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb when he was preaching religion from the Guru of Sikhs and his father, cutting cows and Kashmiri Pandits. Was forcibly taken to convert. Then Guru Govind Singh ji approached Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji against it. Then Guru Ji replied that the salvation of all of these people wants the sacrifice of a great man. Then Govind Singh Ji said to Father Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Father, you are the Guru of Sikhs, who can be greater than you!
Hearing this, Guru Tegh Bahadur immediately got up from his place with a sword and brought Kashmiri Pandits and cows free.
As a result, Aurangzeb took him captive and asked him to change his religion. But Guruji flatly refused to accept Islam at any cost. Aurangzeb publicly beheaded Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji at Chandni Chowk in Delhi on 11 November 1675 for not accepting Islam. Gurdwara Shishganj Sahib and Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib commemorate the places where Guruji was killed and where his last rites were performed.

I learned that religion is paramount. To save the religion which you have sacrificed with the Gurus and their sons, even if you have to die for that religion and truth, you should not back down. Hundreds of salutes to Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Amar Balidani Rashtrapur who instilled hope, faith and courage in the society against obscenity and bigotry through "self-renunciation of one's own life" for the protection of religion and on the occasion of his 400th light day Wish you all the best.
